Trump says he canceled secret Camp David meeting with Taliban leaders

(CNN)President Donald Trump said Saturday that Taliban chiefs were to venture out to the US for mystery harmony talks this end of the week yet that the gathering has been dropped and he’s canceled harmony chats with the activist gathering completely.

Trump tweeted that he rejected the gathering after the assumed praise for an assault in Kabul, Afghanistan, that murdered twelve individuals, including an American trooper.

Welcoming Taliban pioneers onto American soil is an exceptional move and a huge improvement in America’s longest running war only days from the commemoration of the September 11, 2001, psychological oppressor assaults. “I promptly dropped the gathering and canceled harmony dealings,” Trump included.

CNN military expert John Kirby, a resigned Navy back chief of naval operations and previous State Department and Pentagon representative, called the news “dazzling,” saying this would give the Taliban “an increase in political authenticity that they don’t merit at this phase in exchanges and would be a gigantic publicity triumph for them, also a slap at the Afghan government and President Ghani.”

The President hammered the pioneers for believing that the assaults would improve their arranging position.

“What sort of individuals would execute such a significant number of so as to apparently fortify their bartering position?” he tweeted. “They didn’t, they … just aggravated it!”

The State Department alluded CNN to the White House for input. The US National Security Council did not react to demand for input.
